Terrie has a heart for ladies going through separation and/or divorce, and she started ‘Joy in the Journey’ to give them a place to belong, heal, and grow in the Lord. Our class verse, which Terrie selected, was and continues to be 2 Cor 1:3-4.
Terrie is a gifted teacher of the Bible. Whenever she teaches, I find myself wanting to dig in deeper when I get home. She has a way of bringing out perspectives I'd never seen before in stories I’d heard many times. God used Terrie’s teaching and the class she started to bring connection, healing, and help through dark times in my life. I’m so blessed to have sat under Terrie‘s teaching and leadership, and by the power of Jesus, my life has been transformed. He is the lifter of my head and has been my rock.
For years, I have felt that Terrie should be in full-time ministry teaching the Bible and I would highly recommend her to lead a ladies’ ministry, and/or be a guest speaker for conferences and/or events. She continues to be my favorite speaker and has shared multiple lesson series as a guest speaker to ‘Joy in the Journey’ such as “When it rains, God Reigns”, “The Princess and the Stranger”, and in January this year, “New Beginnings-Clean out the Junk!”
